Read this on the 'Net:
"Florida State Sen. Linda Stewart, a Democrat who introduced the amendment to ban assault weapons, said on the Senate floor that ammunition from assault weapons can blow up inside the victim's body and that there is no reason for anyone to have them."
That's news to me!
I read somewhere that it was a Bushmaster, but it was only a passing reference . . .
The thing is that tumbling rounds are nothing new. The British built the Mk VII .303 round in 1910 with a lightweight nose to shift the C of G to the rear. On impact that meant the round would very likely yaw and tumble, all 174gr of it.![]()
Maybe I have what it takes to write for the Post!
New "anti-matter" ammunition kills millions daily! This reporter has just confirmed the existance of ammunition for the deadly AR-7 "assault rifle" which kills so completely no body is left behind.
Devloped by the U.S. Air Force during the wars in Southeast Asia, the 22 mm long rifle AR-7 uses the same "super-ghostmaker" ammo as the Aegis anti-aircraft cannon, but in a smaller size to make it easier to sneak into schools and parks.
Made of "anti-matter" when the bullet hits a person who supports Mayor Bloomberg's reasonable agenda it causes the victim to dematerialize at a molecular level. Recent photographs, included in this article, show just how complete this dematerialization is.
Crazed gun-rights groups intent upon preventing common sense gun safety restictions have been observed handing out these murderous weapons and boxes containing 500 rounds of this deadly ammo to children at day-care centers, little leauge games and in public elementary school lunch rooms. Costing just $3.28 to produce the AR-7 breaks into two pieces for concealment. It fires its 1000 round magazine in 0.8 seconds and the bullets have onboard GPS trackers so they never miss.
Rather than using conventional propellants, the 22 mm long rifle "anti-matter" bullets use lighter than air hydrogen, so that a killer can carry an unlimited supply with him.
The AR-7s onboard nuclear fueled energy matrix field generator allows it to be totally invisible to the naked eye, and for it to fit in an average teenagers front blue jean pocket. The forcefield generated deflects bullets fired by all current LEO weapons.
Professors at Yale, Harvard and Sanford belive that roving "death squads" executed tens of millions of people in late October early November 2016, acting on subliminal telepathic messages eminating from the 'ghoul-metal' reciever in the AR-7. There were believed to be especially high murder rates in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio.
The lack of bodies so far unearthed is proof of the existance of this meanace!
Not that I have ever heard.
The loser probably bought a lower quality rifle, and did not lube it, so it malfed quickly.
Can you prove that it ISN'T true?
A man gets tired typing the entire word...malfunction.How does one 'malf'. So the past tense is 'malfed'?Took me a few seconds there.

SIPRI, a Swedish leftwing disarmament group once got on their high horse about M193, and how "cruel" it was because within a certain band of ranges, the bullet yawed, went base first and fragmented. The thing is that tumbling rounds are nothing new. The British built the Mk VII .303 round in 1910 with a lightweight nose to shift the C of G to the rear. On impact that meant the round would very likely yaw and tumble, all 174gr of it.![]()
They latched on to what one of the teachers (who is a hunter) said about AR15 ammo. He was talking about the bullet tumbling to enhance the wound. Add hyperbole and it "blows up".
Of course it's not like they care about the truth anyway.Or they could be expressing a mis-understanding of an expanding (blowing up)hollow point bullet. When they don't understand the comments rarely make sense.

...The instructor told everyone that they didn't have to hit the guy to kill them. A close miss would kill the enemy because the bullet was traveling so fast, it would suck the air out of the guys lungs and he would suffocate!...
