Does anyone make or sell counter weights for the M-52?
Years ago CalGrip had a neat after market set that fit the groves in the frame & a rod insert to hang the weight on to. But I believe they are no longer in business. Thanks for your help.

I may have something similar to what you are looking for, I'll send you a PM.

DJ Precision makes weights. They are one piece and fit well. I have one mounted on my M52-2. Some blue Loctite helps keep the screw from loosening.

Might want to see if you can get a nylon set screw to avoid marking the frame like the factory weight did. Or stick something between the frame and screw.

I have installed and removed my S&W one many times, the set screw goes into a dimple. there is no mark on the frame, and I have never had to loctite it.

Haha, I always want to add a slight side track to this subject...

Does anyone else have a 52-2 that is NOT cut with the rails or the divot for the weight? I have a TZT-prefix 52-2 that simply didn't get this part of production.

Hmmm, maybe mine is the only one! :D

Along with the missing weight cuts/divot, who has disconnector (Marvel) cuts ? When did it stop?
