Smith and Wesson clone

just picked up a Spesco Falcon in 32 long, looks like a clone of a S&W revolver. trying to find more info and what year they were manufactured. it does say Taurus on it with made in Brazil, Spesco Corp Atlanta Georgia, and 32 long stamped on the barrel. the only thing I can find is one that says that all spesco falcons were made in one batch in 1969, the other said That was made back when S&W and Taurus were both under Bangor Punta ownership. ? confused, any help greatly appreciated. I moved this post as I had it in the wrong forum.

It looks just like a Taurus I had in 22LR. I messed with that little revolver for a long time trying to get a decent, but reliable DA trigger pull. Everything is really similar to a J frame Smith except for the clever adjustable pivot that loads the coil main spring. Tried a new slightly longer firing pin, reamed chambers, adjusted head space, new spring. Never did get it there. Gave it away to a brother that is happy with using it SA.

I had a 38 caliber Taurus that looked very similar to the OP's 32. Had the same grooves in the chamber flutes and had a coil main spring. Same size as a K frame S&W. Not sure of the production period of the 32 but, if my memory is right, the 38 version was made from the late 60's through the 70's. I believe Taurus went through a couple importers during that time frame.
