bought a 686

I plan to shoot pistol in the Huntsman Games in Utah this year.
So, I bought a 17-6 for rimfire, and this 686 for centerfire.

I am also looking to buy a 586

red dot is allowed and shoots at the same time, but also somehow a different category.

I am not yet decided if I want to shoot red dot or not, I have one.

So, I'm thinking of putting it on the 586. I think the black red dot would look good on the 586, (if I get one, don't need it, just want to have one)

The rear open sight is removed to install the rail for the red dot, maybe make it a gun dedicated to red dot.

Anyway, undecided as of now.

I have an Ultradot on a 686+ and it makes a dandy hunting gun.

Have a Millet rear sight on my Model 14 with the patridge sight on a 8 3/8" barrel. What a shooter! Wish I could find a few sets of the Millet rear sights
