Afternoon gentleman,
I'm looking to get into a model 19.(I've owned plenty of 686's/681's and 581's even have a couple model 66's)It to me looks like it's almost the perfect .357 platform.(something about that blue steel) What I like to do is purchase 2 guns, one for its collectable value and one shooters grade gun. Now my question for the greater wealth of knowledge here is which is the better dash model gun to use in excess? I see a lot of dash 3's and a lot of dash 5's is one better than the other ? I would prefer a P&R gun, and I'm not interested in any newer model 19 "classic's"
P.S. I'm quite certain I'm going to have to save for the collectable model 19 no dash 4 screw
at 3500 for the last at auction I'll start with a shooters grade one first.
