Time for fun thread.

So, for whatever reason, your collection is gone and you are only allowed to purchase one currently produced firearm, what would you choose?

Me, I would go with a handgun, and it would be hard to choose between a 686p 4", or a Colt series 70 in.45

A SBR Colt full auto suppressed M-4 in .300 blackout with a red dot sight.
Does that count?
It would be fun

One single gun? If that means handguns ... then I'd choose a Glock 19.

If that single gun meant everything inclusive ... one and only one gun ... I'd choose a Benelli M4 Tactical Semiautomatic Shotgun. It might be overkill for HD but I'd make do. It might be tough for CC, but guess I'd have to figure out something. For deer hunting, dove hunting, hog hunting, skeet shooting ... it'd be fine! Sincerely. bruce.

Must say, if I could work it out, I'd be thrilled to get my hands on a good German drilling chambered w/ 20 ga. on top and a 6.5 Creedmore on bottom.

If I could get my hands on a Thompson Center frame that would accept barrels in either pistol or rifle calibers (Encore???), then I'd go with that. Sincerely. bruce.

I'll play.

My interest is in carry guns, so I'd probably go with a 642-1.

I'm familiar with it and know I can shoot it reasonably well. It's not too expensive.

Most importantly, there are different carry options available, whether it's IWB, pocket carry, or ankle carry (these are the methods I use).

I had first thought about a Glock 19, but I think the carry versatility gives the 642-1 a slight edge.

I'll go with the .357 Magnum 3" SP-101. It will do everything I need a gun to do, just pick the appropriate ammo for the task.

And you can conceal it well, the reason why I'd choose mine over the four-inch stainless GP-100.

Had you not specified current production, I'd have chosen the M-66-3, four-inch barrel. But I'd limit full Magnum use.

If I was more of a rifle nut, it'd be a Winchester M-70 Fwt. Classic in .30-06. Shotgun would be a fancy Browning or Winchester (Miroku) M-12 in 12 ga.
