At a gas stop on a motorbike trip, out on a lake fishing, a bag of Twizzlers is always welcome. For some reason, though, I never buy them for home consumption. Well, almost never.

Usually, I prefer black licorice to any other variety, but with Twizzlers, only the red ones will do.

Who else can't resist a couple of Twizzlers or six?

Well thanks a lot for putting temptation in my path. I started back on my diet today after overdoing it on Christmas. I could eat a whole bag of those things. So what do Twizzlers and caramel popcorn have in common? As far as I'm concerned they're both like crack cocaine. Once I start I can't stop. My wife says Twizzlers are like eating wax but I disagree. Enjoy!

I like Twizzlers, but about the only time I ever get them is at the movie theater if I don't feel like getting popcorn.

Agreed. I love caramel popcorn, and it's not unusual for me to eat an entire bag in one sitting.

Had Twizzlers on the 'dessert' table...

...at my Christmas party last Sunday.

Two bags went quickly...both the red and the black.

Numerous guests said both flavors go great with beer! :p

Be safe.

Twizzlers blows, like eating plastic. Red Rope, Red Vines and boutique licorice is where it's at.

Red Vines are a lot better than Twizzlers. Have to stop a Costco for a barrel of 'em soon. Haven't seen Red Rope in years. A little off topic, but I read somewhere that they still may make Chunky. Anybody see any out there?

I used to be a fan but I avoid all that food coloring these days. There are some other brands of "red licorice" that use non chemical coloring.... but they don't quite match up to twizzlers.
