So you say it’s not a conspiracy

All the stores in town are sold out of my dog's usual food. The BATF's black helicopter K-9 squads must have conspired with the FBI's K-9 unit to deprive civilian dogs. Will individually wrapping the few kernels she has left in aluminum foil help?

My Sportsmans Warehouse had a full aisle of ammo this morning. 9mm FMJ Blazer Brass for $20 a box (19 with my GI Joe discount). Still a limit of 2 boxes. Amerian Eagle .44 Magnum 240 grain JSP for $59 a box which isn't much more than usual. Tons of shotgun shells.

They stagger putting out ammo during the day to foil the scalpers.

Yes, that will help but it's only the half of it, you also have to wrap your dog in the foil.

Caseful. Many members enjoy non-fiction war books.

The US hasn't has foreign boots on our soil since 1812- OVER 200 years.
During WW II Japan occupied Attu and Kiska Islands in the Aleutian Islands. Even though Alaska was still a U.S. territory I think that counts. Since I'm counting U.S. Territories they also occupied Guam and the Philippines.

My mother-in-law just got $10K in reparations for her suffering as a US citizen child during the Japanese occupation of Guam. Oddly, it came from our government, not Japan.

I don't mind the US military getting the ammo they have contracted for.

This is good advice, only I didn't wait until today to take it. When the early nineties AWB was in the works, I bought a few normal-cap mags and started what AJ recommends. Didn't have much extra money then, started with defensive ammo and eventually started stacking up factory range ammo and components for the few cartridges I reload. Two or three general ammo shortages between then and now slowed me down, but never depleted me. I'll wait this one out, too, and pick it up again.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Back in 1984 my ship was in port and I went down to NC to visit my Mom and step-dad, a few days before I was to leave I noticed a new "going out of business" sign at the local store where I usually picked up my ammo during hunting season. He had 2 pallet loads of 7.62x39 he was going to have to send back to his supplier. I bought the both pallet loads for his wholesale price ($35/case), rented an enclosed trailer and brought the whole load back to Norfolk. I sold several cases to some ship-mates, but kept and shot the rest, I ran out about 10 years later.

Ok ill play the game why do you want the military to have priority over US citizens?
Who is invading the US? The US hasn't has foreign boots on our soil since 1812- OVER 200 years. All wars we fought in the last 70 years have been meaningless that we either lost or backed out of.
You really need to come out of the Ether.

Do not forget Columbus, New Mexico in 1916.

Imagine what you could get for it now!😉

20 nice fellas from the Middle East were on American soil for a year or better before they flew three hijacked planes into various American centers of power, and tried to do the same with a fourth.

I have many other examples, but that ought suffice . . .

Which had nothing to do with the ammunition supply for the US armed forces.

Surely you don't think the Japanese are going to pay reparations if they can get away with it. They keep trying to cover up and forget the war.

There is not a ammunition shortage.

What? You say.

I'll say it again. There is not a ammunition shortage.

It really is a case of supply and demand.

Brick and mortar stoves may not have much or any ammunition on their shelves. However I can do surfing on the Internet and find ammunition for sale. As it is more expensive than I am willing to pay I am not buying any of it which is different than saying it is a shortage.

The prices of ammunition has temporarily stabilized for the last few weeks meaning supply has reached the top that most customers are willing to pay. There are several factors that will keep the price of ammunition as or going higher. We are fast approaching summer riots in big cities, political fallout from Biden's DOJ and BATF policy changes, lingering effects of thr COVID19, terrorism along with International situations.

The real shortage is going to start if the DOJ and BATF repeats their selves as did on Ruby Ridge and in WACO and extremists organize and fight back.

We let them in and trained them to fly. Nice try I'd like to hear the other examples and bullets didn't stop those 20- buildings did.

Alaska wasn't a state or part of the United States during WWII. Nice try keep going.

11,000,000 have come over the southern border.
