Haven't posted any of these for awhile but know there are many who like seeing the critters. A couple nice cinnamon Black Bears, it appears one of 'em had a beef with a Porcupine.

i am sure glad we don't have bears. cute from across country, not so cute in the trash cans, dog food & bird seed.

bears have been planted here in missouri, so i expect one of these days i will have to deal with them...until then...no thanks unless they are hundreds of mile away! ;-)

Looks like mom and last years cub based on ear size. Teens have to learn things by themselves sometimes.

That could be a costly lesson if they get infected. I am betting he/she will give porky a wide berth next time.
