Where are the Shield Plus Magazines?

My wife has a shield+, she is fine with the 2 mags that came with it. At some time I will buy a couple more 13s but when they reach a reasonable price. I got myself a Hellcat, I wanted the ambi-safety, Im a lefty, carry appendix in a holster. The safety is really decent . Best of all walked 10 feet and bought 2 extra 13 rd mags when I bought the gun, 35.00 each.

I just purchased three mags from the gun store that supports Youtube reviewer hickok45.....

They have several hundred available for $38.85 plus shipping.

You know the place "Bud"...

The scalpers on GunBroker and elsewhere can keep their $125 plus mags.

Placed my order this morning, Just got a notice that the order is going to their shipping department. This is my third try, one went out of stock as I was imputing CC info, the 2nd was cancelled about an hour after placement due to running out of stock. Got my fingers crossed.
 
If you have a gun shop nearby, I'd recommending checking in store. My store showed sold-out online within minutes, but when I stopped by yesterday, there were two full pegs of the 13rd magazines on the shelf. Picked up 4 with no issue.
 
They are showing up at several online vendors today. Also selling out quickly. If you want any, better be ready to buy as soon as you see them.

I was able to buy four Shield Plus thirteen round magazines for $39.99 USD each through Proforce LE store. Joe Bob Outfitters had the best price at $37.95 USD, but they were sold out within minutes. I am happy to at least be able to get them. My Shield Plus was the LE model with night sights, so I got the two thirteen round magazines and one ten round magazine. So now I have a total of seven magazines, which is nice.

Wow…seriously.

And here we are 7 months later…and I still can’t buy mags for my pistol.

I’m fine. I merely suggested that a company who markets and sells a product should be able to support it.

I bought this swiffer duster sweeper thingy to dust my man cave a few weeks ago. It came with a handle and two duster sheets. I used both and went back to get more, they were out. I sued the big box retailer, cuz I couldn't dust last weekend. Plus my feelings were hurt too.

The sad part is the amount of responses to this foolishness. Let's all sue the ammo companies next for not getting enough ammo to market!!

Or...I vote to lock this thread. And I'm the last person on the planet who likes to see that, but this is just dumb!!
 
Mags are now becoming available from main-line gun stores (e.g. Brownells, etc.) at normal retail prices.

AFAIK, since the Shield Plus was released, no Shield Plus owner has been killed by running out of ammo in a gun fight.

Although quite a few perhaps had to suffer the indignity of re-loading their mags at the range.

And maybe some had sleepless nights because they only had 24 rounds loaded bedside.

Nearly criminal behavior on the part of S&W to cause all this, wouldn't you say? </sarcasm>
 
My desire for an extra mag or two stems from the training I routinely take. 3 mags are the minimum for most of the class. The exception being the urban rifle class where the pistol is only needed on a few drills.

As I stated earlier regardless of the platform I typically carry 1 spare mag.

The magazines are out there if you would spend some time looking instead of throwing little temper tantrums on this forum. Lots of people buying those now for $40 on several different forums. Just because you can't find them doesn't mean they aren't available.
