“Dodge this”

QMASTERARMS - THE GUNSMITH

Witnessed by the range master at North West Shooters in Columbia Falls, Montana. Accuracy documented by Flathead Beacon news reporter.
Jerry Miculek txt message: “Thats Smokin Fast!”

S&W 44 Mag Snub, 240 Grain Hornady XTP JHP.
Six rounds in 0.8 seconds. Shot through steel backstop in shooting lane 25 yds down range.
Carried in Dale Fricke custom holster at 12:00.

I totally agree with Univibe. I ALWAYS carry an M60E4 in an IWB holster and a GAU-8 in a shoulder rig when leaving the house in my MRAP to venture out among the zombies shopping at Wally's Mart or Sammy's Club. Even at that, I feel a bit undergunned so I carry a Baby Browning in .25 Auto in my ankle holster.

I’ll learn to dress around this, and get used to the weight.

Similar experience here, in central Illinois. I was the only revolver shooter (640 Pro) in my renewal class. Everybody else was using plastic mid and full size semi autos. As the owner of the range/store told some of them, "the pistolero there (nodding to me) outshot you all". Which spoke more about their lack of ability than it did my shooting prowess, since I consider myself an average shot. in Illinois, the shooting portion of the certification is so easy I'd be surprised if anybody has ever failed it.
😊 Similar situation here, in Central Illinois. Been carrying a m36 in cold weather, but when I went to take the mini class to reup my CCL, I used a M10 HB. And outdid all the autoloader guys.....at age 68.
Upon reading this , I couldn't help but chuckle a bit remembering a ( not so good) Steven Seagal movie where he's facing like six or eight guys, one of them says something to the effect of, you ain't got enough shots to get us all, whereupon Seagal shoots that guy in the face.....I thought yup, saw that comin'.......

I would be fascinated to read of such exploits as well. I can only imagine the sort of brushes of death he must have experienced which served as the basis for his assertions.

I love to read stories like this. Many people today seem to have no understanding of how well revolvers can be shot.

It's very telling the the OP hasn't made any attempt to defend his assertions

In survey research, we call that the social-desirability bias.:D

Well, my flintlock Howda will still be firing when you boys & girls are out of ammo, primers, and powder! All I need is few chucks of lead, flint, and my BP ingredients (easily made). Take THAT, ya modernists!
