I know I've mentioned in here in some thread or other about memory and/or losing things how that some times, seeing as how I have lost so many things, I can be looking for something I just lost and wind up finding something I lost earlier, even if I still couldn't find that which I just lost.

Here is the latest chapter in this on-going saga:
Al couple of years ago I bought a nice little pocket knife. It is the Buck 389G. Handy little knife and I got into the habit of carrying it more than any of the others just for EDC. I wanted something a little little bigger for workin' out side days. Something on the sane order as the buck but bigger. I finally got the Uncle Henry Old Timer. Perfect. Just what I wanted.

I got out my Lansky and got all those blades good and sharp. Then I turned right around and misplaced the Buck. Looked for it for several weeks, to no avail. I just told myself to relax, that it would turn up sooner or later.

Do I know myself or what? Yesterday I was looking for my phone (I lose this about twice a day) and whadda ya know? I found that little Buck. I later found the phone, too. I just have Miss Pam call me from her phone. It was in my jacket pocket all the time. The Buck was on the dresser behind my hearing aid box. :D

Until next time....

Back around Father's Day I was putting my bicycling equipment away and decided to put my LCR 38 someplace it would be easy to grab before my next cycle ride. Haven't seen it since!

Ivan

EDIT: I found the LCR in the gun safe buried under a pile of Vaqueros, all in soft gun rugs. Date located 4/20/23

Have a divided top drawer, left side contains 5 pocket knives, keys and wallet. The right side my EDC and a pocket and IWB holster.
Every day everything goes back where it came from, so never an issue, always know right where they are.
Now about that dang cell phone...'honey, would you call my phone'...lol
