J Frame Snub Owners: What is your favorite "carry" grips?

Eagle Secret Service but I’d love to try Spegals. I prefer wood because it doesn’t cling to clothing.

No idea who made them, but I like the set that came on my 642-2 (purchased used). I can get a good grip on them when shooting even with some pretty stout P+ 158 grain loads, although I admit that I mostly shoot 148 wadcutters to keep Uncle Arthur at bay. I trimmed the left side down to make access with a speedloader better, although I tend to just carry speed strips. A Don Hume J.I.T. belt slide holster seems to work well for me.

Thanks for posting the photos.
Nice looking stocks!
Dig the Hornady Logo as well.

Those remind me of the Boot Grips that came on my 342 Ti from the factory.

Uncle Mike’s boot grips with a Talon Grip covered back strap (cut from sheets) on my 642’s and 442.

The stock grips that came on my Model 36 look great, and it handles OK with a Tyler T-grip, but a Hogue Monogrip works better in every way, (Caution, it's an effort to install). Bought my Model 49 used with Pachmyr Compac's. Liked them from Day one, so I left them on.

I have Model 60-7 Ladysmith with a grip that works well, but no manufacturer on it. Just says "S&W J-Frame Round Butt" on the inside.

The Model 30-1 wears a set of Hogue Monogrips and I like them a lot.

Honestly both fit my hand about the same. Can't say I have a favorite between the two.

DeSantis Clip Grip on my J-38, inside the belt in an inexpensive pocket holster to keep skin away from the metal. The holster stays in my jeans when I pull it.

They look like Pachmayr #3252 Compac Presentation grips, but without the medallion, or maybe some knock-offs?

My left side grip's pattern looks like your left side except for the medallion.

Due to my large hands, I prefer grips with a backstrap to increase my trigger finger reach. Pachmayr compacts or the Diamond Pro series are my favorites. But that usually kills the concealability of these small guns.

For boot grips, the ones that come with the gun actually feel very good in my large hands. And I also like the original Uncle Mike boot grip.

I found these Cool Hand grips on Amazon for $35 and thought I'd give them a try. Just in my hand, they feel really good. And seem like a good compromise for those with larger hands but still want a boot grip. They are thicker at the top and taper down towards the bottom. I'm shooting with them installed tomorrow for the first time to see if I like them. Not really a fan of the color scheme though, but it's all they offer. I tried the VZ of similar design, but found they shifted in my hand too much.

Here's Pachmayr's wood version of the Diamond Pro series. These also work for me, but are a bit large for the gun.
