I’m lucky enough to have two great examples of the 19-3 4” blue both with target stocks. The only difference is one has a smooth trigger the other grooved. Went to the range today and decided to give it a try on an 8” circle at 15 yards point shooting. Not too shabby and got 8 inside the circle and other 4 on paper - those appear to be from my lefty. Considering I have never shot a handgun left hand I was pretty pleased with the results. I really enjoy the dual model 19s.
I also brought out my 5904 and did some target shooting at 10 and 15 yards. Second time firing this and I’m still getting used to the sights and grip. Did have one group at 15 yards I could cover with the palm of my hand. I also found out that my Glock 19 holster fits this perfectly. You can see it there on my hip.
Next up my Rossi large loop .357/.38 16” at 50 and 100 yards shooting clay pigeons. Sights are way too wide for my eyesight and I may invest in a peep rear sight. Not sure if I hit them or bounced the rounds in but got a few.
Ended the session with 20 rounds at 7 yards one handed out of my 442 my edc.
Overall a great day at the range.
