It was asked on another thread about our ages at the S&W Forum. So I will add a Poll.

Yup, just turned 70. I never dreamed I’d live this long, if I would have known I would have taken better care of myself.

At 74 I just had my annual blood work checked. No issues, good oil pressure, air in the tires, just creaky ball joints. I drink beer, wine, whiskey; I eat red meat. NO SMOKE since 1989.

I'm closer to 80 than 75. I still have air in the tires, however they may well benefit from being recaped. But the fuel tank still has a few gallons.

I am closer to 100 than 70. It is possible that I could make 100, there ain't no way I will ever be 70

About 85% of us are 50 or older. Almost 45% are over age 70.

I didn’t expect us to be particularly young, but this is longer in the tooth than expected.

I wonder what this forbodes for the interest in Smith & Wessons in the near & distant future?

Yeah, folks on this forum are even older than I expected, but so what? And I don't fear for revolvers either. Around here, there's no gun store without at least a couple of S&W revolvers. We'll be fine.
