OK guys..Seriously need some help here..

Back in 2007, I bought my last of 6 houses. 5 YO, plywood construction. Built by an architect for himself. I was in the cellar 1 day, and noticed they had not sealed around the pipe through the foundation to the septic tank.

Of to the depot to get a can of spray insulation. Got home, and sprayed the foam around the pipe to my satisfaction, but it was not smooth enough. Could not find a wide putty knife, So what to use? I have 2 hands, I will smooth it by hand.

Bad move. This is the most tenacious stuff known to man. it took days to get it all off, and a couple weeks for my hands to heal. Set up time is in pico seconds

YeGads !!!!! expanding foam insulation is nothing to mess with using bare hands.....next time at the Depot invest in some rubber gloves.......A lesson learned is a lesson never forgotten....ask me how I know..........
