SInce I'm retired, one other passion occupies a part of my time: leather works.
I don't sell anything, only make my gift to my family members.
Sometimes they must think "it's enough", but they don't tell me. So I go on.
My friends, specialy those who shares my monday morning shooting session, they say "again please"...
But I don't forget me.
So as soon as I buy a new revolver i create its specific hoslter.
Here is the holsters of my two first S&W revolvers.
For the last enter in the S&W family, a model 34-1, I'll show you its holster when it will be done.
For the pleasure of sharing.

Very nice! I am afraid to know what animal is on the second one... :)

VERY GOOD!!! Your holsters remind me of SD Myres in EL Paso, Texas.

Very nice work and revolvers. The first holster looks like it would be great to wear while working on the farm as it would protect the revolver.

I am envious of your skills.

Thanks,
Unfortunately in France the law forbids the wearing of guns inside holster or not, except at home, or at the range, and in that case, if the rules of it allows.
We cannot use our revolver for defense. If you do you are sure to end up in court.

Very nice work. I envy that your skill.

I made a holster once for my model 63. I made it out of an old boot. It kept the gun from falling on the ground, but I decided I am not a leather worker.

It was a long time ago when $40 for a holster was not in the budget.

You used the wrong kind of leather, for starters! There are many YouTube videos about how to make a holster, what leather to use, how to stitch like a professional, etc. Tandy leather sells an excellent book on holster making, and has all the supplies you will need.

Sure, leather is rather expensive and needs tools to produce good works, the reason why a good holster cost so much money for such little part.
