Letter request turnaround time?

I’m 10 weeks and counting. Requested March 3 paid online.
Patience is a virtue, my friend...I'm barely into week 4 on my latest batch of three...I'll welcome them when they get here...And as it has been explained to me, it is sometimes necessary to wait for new information from corporate HQ as not all needed information is instantly available to the historians......Ben

I haven't seen your requests. Did you snail mail them, or send them to Mike?

Don,

I sent in requests for two letters on February 18 and another one on March 3rd, haven't seen anything on either of them and the checks haven't been cashed.

Anyone waiting for a letter, send me a PM. I'm currently working on letters we have received from May 5. If you mailed a check and it has not been cashed, I never received. I deposit checks normally twice a month. You could get your letter before I deposit your check. I won't to get this cleared up.

Got my three from April 17 today, and well worth the wait!...I'll post threads in the upper forums on each one later today after I send three more requests...:geek:...Ben

On 6/17/25 I ordered up a letter for a Triple Lock that i knew went to the Bits in 1914. I received the letter confirming it today, 7/18/25. Thanks Don

I no longer snail mail requests and paper checks, my time and my confidence in USPS both having dwindled...Currently I email the requests and pictures, and pay via Paypal and credit card...I find this to be the most efficient way to conduct this particular business...I'm sure Don Mundell and Mike Helms of the S&W Historical Foundation will agree as neither has to wait for the mail carrier, nor make a trip to the bank to deposit a check...

My biggest concern now is waiting for the mail lady to bring the new letters to my door...My latest requests were sent July 10 and I received the letters yesterday, July 28... :geek: ...Ben

I'm in NW Indiana and found it interesting that both guns appear to have stayed close to where they where shipped.

I'm satisfied with the service I received. Thanks to those who do the work to make this possible.

Before you ask, here they are:
