A small flock hangs around the Industrial park with several ponds and others at the apartments with a pond at the entrance , watch out for goose poop. My uncle had a grouchy goose that cousin and I would aggravate and get chased across the yard

Canada geese are a pia! I saw an episode of Billy the Exterminator where he took a service call by a lady that had nesting pairs on the roof of building. Billy and his bro lured the geese off the nest and took their eggs and wiped them down with oil so they wouldn't hatch. Chicago's parks have big ponds the geese took over. Vagrants and homeless have pretty much wiped them out.

Dinner over a fire barrel?

Had white geese growing up on the farm. Good watch critters and as long as they stay in the barn yard or pasture they are fine. When they have little ones best stay well away. Geese attack with their beaks but a beating from their wings will change anythings mind. BB gun usually kept them in line.

There are a few businesses around here that use Coyote replicas to try and keep the geese away. There is also a local hospital that has Coyote statues placed around the grounds to deter geese.

We have geese. Here all year, more in the winter, they feed in the grass fields in the day and flyover my house to the local lake for the night. I enjoy them going about their business.
Here's a picture a couple of weeks ago of a group standing on a log critiquing my fly casting form fishing for panfish in the morning. 😂

I remember taking my son to feed ducks when he was little. He loved it, but the geese terrified him. One day there were about a dozen swimming in a sort of formation heading toward us wanting some food. My son was frightened and called them "army gooses."

It took a bit of convincing, but I finally made him realize that they couldn't hurt him. Eventually he was able to get them to eat from his hand.

Just grab their Bill and shake them a little. Now if it's a Turkey watch out those spurs can tear you up. Brother and I used to catch the Mallards live. Chase them in a Jon boat and they take off and go 200 yards then land. By the forth take off they are too tired to take off and they dive underwater. Then we scooped them up with a crab net!!!!!! :D

Do what you want, but Canadian Geese are protected by a Federal law in the United States........ The Migratory Bird Act of 1918..........Yea they are a pain in the ass.........but you are limited to what you can do to discourage them.......
