That one was a mascot for a group we were training. He stayed close, but they said no one could touch him without him disappearing for a few days.

Jack O'Conner once wrote of being on safari and the PH suggested he pot one if he didn't want canned stuff for lunch. He admitted he goofed and gut shot the poor thing with a .375. Took them quite some time to find it and put it out of it's misery. Lunch was out of a can.
