19-3 Show & Tell

Both my 19-3s have no collector value really but are great shooters. One has been Hard Chromed and the other is very finish worn blue (now with Grasshorn stag). Both former Police duty guns local to me.

My 19-3s... the Smolt started out as a 2 1/2", and I had to go looking for another one after I did the conversion.

… Under the grips is someone's initials, last name, and badge number, so I'm assuming
I have my name on the sideplate of my duty revolver and I had several partners that did the same thing. It was popular in the 1970s.

Under the grips I would think it is the original owner and his Drivers License number.

I have a 19-3 in the form of a Texas Ranger Commemorative. Got he gun only for $700 and found the presentation case and a brand new knife from a forum member. Gun is in really good shape and has a very smooth action
