Both my 19-3s have no collector value really but are great shooters. One has been Hard Chromed and the other is very finish worn blue (now with Grasshorn stag). Both former Police duty guns local to me.

Love the grips! Where did you get them?I wasn't going to bore everyone with my M19-3 again, but, I guess I will anyway.
Great old revolver from 1970.

Nice grouping! My 19-3s... the Smolt started out as a 2 1/2", and I had to go looking for another one after I did the conversion.

I have my name on the sideplate of my duty revolver and I had several partners that did the same thing. It was popular in the 1970s.… Under the grips is someone's initials, last name, and badge number, so I'm assuming
These was a popular in Texas.I have my name on the sideplate of my duty revolver and I had several partners that did the same thing. It was popular in the 1970s.
Under the grips I would think it is the original owner and his Drivers License number.
My favorite 19-3 was 3Ts with RR/WO.Might as well throw mine out there. 1974 vintage, 3T.
