Just watched this movie not seen it in years. Dirty Harry and his m29. Checked into other guns used. Seems the bad young cops were using pythons, Hal Holbrook Harry's boss using a m29 snub and a variety of shotguns were used. A few others mentioned in various scenes. I liked seeing revolvers, nice ones like were used years ago. One Beretta semi auto also. Did a search and each scene told gun present.

Yep it was a snub m19 jbull. Wyatt that's what I read also too much to post but an interesting list of arms used in the movie. Even carrying the speed loaders pretty cool I thought. Lot different than today's movies

One of my all time favourites, representing so much that I liked about the 70s...good film too.

Watched Clint all day Christmas and it brought back the day's that I was a young man and looked forward to his next movie. Now I'm old and has any one seen my remote?

Watched portions of it the other day. I have seen it in its entirety many times. A great handgun/revolver flick. Lots of handgun action and dialogue, both combat and range time (twice).

The movie spawned one of the greatest movie quotes and oft true in real life as I learned through the years................"A man's got to know his limitations."

It was a lot easier.....

It was a lot easier to buy a good gun for not much more than a cheapie or hot gun. In the early 1980s They really started pushing 9mm Saturday night specials. I got a model 10 around that time for $187.
