Don was at his best in 73 in Kelly`s Heroes, one of my all time favorites.
We have lost not just a great comedian,actor but also a friend.

He and his wife were best friends of Bob Newhart and his wife...opposites attract, in this case. The world is less funny with his passing. He was the king of the Dean Martin Roasts...but he was never abrasive, in spite of what some people think. Everything was in jest, and he was well received by those he "insulted" in his act. Time to Watch Toy Story 1,2 and 3 again. Mr. Potato Head...

Don Rickles was unique, that's for sure. You either loved him or hated him...doesn't seem to have been any in-between.
He said he sort of looked around one day and all of a sudden he was 90-years-old. Wondered where the time went...just like all of us do.
