    Big Dogs SW1911PD Commander...Lets see your 1911's!

1911 PD BigDog I do love my 1911PD too. That was why I have been a sad puppy for the last month. While at the range late one afternoon just before sunset I was trying to get a couple of more mags thru the 1911PD, I put the last mag in and noticed the safety all but fell out, so I thought...

    S&W 624

I was asking some questions the other day about the 624, so I finally searched the web to find what I needed and bought it. I found all of the info about the bum cyclinders but after three calls to S&W customer service I finally got in touch with a lady named Kate. This woman certainly knows...

    Model 624 44 Special

I have several S&W Revolvers but I have always been interested in a Model 624 snubbie. Never have seen one except in magazines or online. Found one at a gun store yesterday. It looks in good shape and has a most excellent trigger, probably best I've ever felt in a revolver...obviously some...

Need comparison of 3913 to 6906

I shot a 3913 once at the range. It was nice but trigger was scratchie. I have a 6906, very nice gun. To make it even nicer get the adapter and add a 5906 magazine to it. Lots of firepower there.

    What's a Good 9MM Auto

I have several 9mm's. S&W 6906, CS-9, Sig P228, Sigpro 2022, Sig P6 and a Bersa 9UC. Like them all. The Sigs are most accurate with the Sigpro SP2022 coming out on top.

Sorry for a dumb Q about my 6906...

Plunky I got a NIB 6906 about a year ago and I have put a few rounds down range on it. Shortly after that I was lucky enough to pick up a really nice 4006. However it had some problems. I took it to a regional S&W repair guy and he fixed it like new. He said to bad I want see you soon, I...

    Need help deciding

Novalty, I suppose you mean a SS 5 inch barrel 1911 tactical? If so I have one and it is VERY NICE. I plan on down the road adding one of those green lasers and using for a house gun. I also bought a S&W 4 1/4 inch 1991 PD. Now this gun is the nuts. It's light, accurate and powerful! I...

Carry Difference in CS9 and 6906

I have a 6906 which I like very much. Like you said when you add the 5906 magazines with +2 adapter...you have lots of firepower there. I bought a CS-9 and it is a very nice gun. I know Cruiser RN has been trying to get me to go with the thinner grips and I will, but my bucks are going other...

1911PD First trip to the range plus a question

It has been a day or two since I shot my 1911PD but as I recall it will chunk those shells out of there. I have had other 45's throw shells all over the heck and half of Georgia. I wouldn't worry about it but be sure and wear eye protection. I had a guy one day standing at least three people...

4006 Slide Crack - Anyone Ever See This Before?

This is all good info. I'll have to look at mine to see what is happening.

    New Gun

Fyimo, I too picked up, new to me, two W. German P228's last week in 95-98% condition. I bought some extra Mec-Gar mags. I even tried one of those 17 rd 9mm mags for a 229 which fit like a glove and funny thing is it holds 18 rounds. I'm a Smith revolver, 3rd gen auto and Sig guy.

CS40----Feel Like I Won The Lottery!

Congrats I have a CS-9 and two CS-40's and I like them all. I find the CS-9 to be really accurate, however one of the 40's seems to be a little better than the other. The CS-40 has a fairly stout recoil and I am very happy with all of them.
