I don’t put ketchup or tomato’s or tomato sauce on anything. I developed an allergy to them at 30 ,over 38 yrs ago….it’s been hell…*sniff
We had lunch at BK today, mainly because my grandson wanted to go there. My wife and I haven’t been to one in at least two or three years. I demand thick ketchup for my fries. Today the BK ketchup was more like tomato juice. Has anyone else had that experience? I don’t believe we will be returning because of that watered down ketchup.
Way too many good burger joints around here to step foot in any of those chains.
As I said earlier it was pump your own into a little paper cup at BK. We go mainly to Whataburger, their ketchup (and other condiments) comes in larger plastic cups (size depends on the condiment) with a peel-off lid, much better to dip fries in. I strongly dislike the little tear-open packets of ketchup the other FF places use.Was it in packets, or out of a pump dispenser?
The former would be surprising, the latter, not so much...
Crossing an entire fast food chain off the list over packaged ketchup viscosity is a new one on me.
Here too although for a really good burger it's a $20 bill with a drink/tip. Joe
PS: A long time ago I saw some whining, crying, sniveling vegan on TV begging people not to eat fast food ketchup because it had 'meat juice' in it.
I avoid Heinz at all cost. Owned by John Kerry's second millionaire wife.
Just skip the fries.
Can't ever remember having a burger without fries
