Ref the trip we took last week to Black Canyon of the Gunnison national Park, I posted some videos that cover the places I posted pictures of a few days ago.
The Spanish built a lot of interesting things here in the SW.
Here in NM they built the Salt Missions.

Several times I may have mentioned that I have some of ‘everything.’
Such as an Okinawa Hunting License- Tag.
I think that’s what it is! I don’t read Japanese.

Wildlife encounter this afternoon. About 2pm my neighbour called to say “There’s a big bear walking down your driveway.” I went out the bsmt. entrance, knowing my black cat, Smudge, was by the metal shed, and leaving the bsmt. door open in case he wanted to head inside by the shortest route. But he just remained alert until it passed, assured that it wasn't interested in him (or me...) then ran up to his cat door at the front door. Bear ambled unconcernedly right by us about 25’ away as if we weren’t there and disappeared into the back of the property. This bear is a regular around here and doesn't seem to bother anyone so we don't worry about it much.
