I have a set of Altamont boot grips for my J-frame. They are perfect. Tight fit on the frame and provide an excellent purchase on the handgun when firing. Beautiful as well.

I have used both a 3" Model 64 and a 2.5 inch 66 as conceal carry guns. Both work very well for concealed carry.

I don't have any experience with the model holsters that you are looking at. However, I do have a lot of experience with Galco holsters. The are excellent. I would go with a Galco.

I never knew that the model 10 came in 357 magnum. Neat find.

I just picked up a 66-7 2.5" from a local LEO it was his personal gun and it was lightly used. I shot it yesterday at the range and I was getting nice accuracy out to 35 yards.

Thanks guys I have found a couple of auctions on ebay and such. Most of the K-Frames that I have seen now have the hogue grips.

7 shots of 357 magnum. I might have it loaded alternatively with hollow points and solids. However, the 44 special night guard, which I belive is a light weight gun would also make an excellent trail gun.

I used to immediately remove the uncle mike grips installed by the factory. Now i find that I like those ugly uncle mikes grips the best. Unfortunately, these grips no seem to be in short supply
