The 40c is my LTC gun. I find the recoil to be a little snappy. Not painful, but also not something I choose to run a few hundred rounds through in a single shooting session.
Only reason I care about them is for resale value. Have no practical or collector interest in them otherwise. Just more junk to take up space in the garage.
My 629 (no dash). Barrel shortened to 2-3/4" and action tuned by Bill Davis in the 1980s. Davis and my father thought that the then newly introduced 629 would be cool in a snubby configuration.

So, no extraction problems using just a conversion barrel and 9mm mags? I know that Glocks can have reliability issues if you don't swap out the extractor, also.
Yes, but MORE prohibitions are coming. I would rather it be background checks (which is not the same thing as registrations) than what I can or cannot have. If we have the compromise, that is probably the least painful.
I'm a huge fan of the feel of the Pachmayr "Gripper" grips (more so than the Presentation models). I run them on my 686 that I shoot in competition.
