For sale is my Tom Threepersons “k” frame holster, 2 1/2” barrel, 1 1/2” belt loops. I purchased new from a maker on eBay. 3953 Tactical 9 trigger question

Ok, I'm starting to understand. So basically you have to just fully release the trigger which on the pistol we have is ALL the way out. That's a really long reset. In trying to find an answer to my question before posting on this forum I read a lot of reviews exclaiming how great the triggers...

    3953 Tactical 9 trigger question

Actually, to check reset I rack the slide to set the trigger, then fully pull the trigger (which if loaded the gun would fire),I hold the trigger back and rack the slide again (as would happened when the slide is cycled by firing the gun). At this point I slowly let the trigger out to reset and...

    3953 Tactical 9 trigger question

I'm spending some of my time in retirement working at a local shooting and training center. One of the pistols we have for sale is a S&W 3953 Tactical 9, NIB. When checking the reset on this pistol I found that it has a "false" reset, where the trigger cannot be engaged , followed by a longer...

    Help me spend $30,000

First, find a gun savvy and knowledgable friend to help you select a pistol to train with.....shoot with him for a while to get the feel of shooting, see if you really like it. You will! Next purchase a holster, mag pouch, extra mags, a good belt, good ear and eye protection and sign up for a...

10-5 Snub How Did I Do

At one time I owned 64, 65 and 66 2 1/2" and 3" in each model....sold them to fund a high end 1911....not the smartest move. A few years ago I saw a model 10 2" rounded grip that appeared to be never fired for $400 at an out of state gunshop. I hesitated, again not the smartest move, and called...

REDUCED FS New Vintage Left hand holster 3"/4" k frames

FS is a "new" vintage old stock left hand holster for 3" and 4" k frames. This is new made by Tex Shoemaker and Sons, not sure how old it is. Perfect condition, stuck my k frame in it one time. This holster is in new condition, not a mark on it because it was never used.... Selling because I...

    S&W 19-3 advice, matte finish

Hard to tell from your picture, but if it not an applied finish your 19 may have been bead blasted. I just purchased a model 64 2" that had been a CA Dept. of Corrections that had been bead blasted. The finish is a little dull but most of the marks and scratches were removed. The gun had been...

    Model 10-7 Snubby

I was in PA on business a few months ago and saw a consigned, unfired 10 snubbie for $400.....I hesitated and lost it. Lesson learned. I do have a 2" model 64 on the way, but still wish I would have grabbed to 10.

    Model 64-4 at LGS

I passed up a never fired Model 10 2" for $400 last month and have been kicking myself ever since, a 64 2" for that price would be a really good deal. Did pick up a 3" 64-6 this month on the forum and it is a nice clean pistol. Can't go wrong with a k frame, grab it!
