    Model 10-9 Snubby

My model 10-5 snubbie is one of my most accurate revolver. I am kinda feeling guilty of relegating it as a truck gun since it is "cosmetically challenged". My son likes to use it the most whenever I take him to the range to shoot with me.

    Baby's got nu shooz (640-1)

I got this pistol with Pachmayr compacts at first and then later changed to Hogue bantams. Somehow it didn't feel right. I was able to get a pair of brand new(old stock) target stocks, still in shrink wrap, Goncalo Alves. The speedloader cutouts are pretty much useless but I have decided to use...

    Mod 547

after a trip to the range my 547 3" seems to hold up to it's reputation of accuracy. shot about 200 rds of WWB ammo and it can do 3-4" at 25 yards on single action rested. I even suprised myself I can do that with a 3" revolver. It shows some honest wear. I finally installed the magnas and...

I just brought home a 3" a few days ago but have not had the chance to take it to the range yet. I posted a thread last week and had some good responses from people with experience. Check it out http://www.smith-wessonforum.com/showthread.php?t=88984 Grab it both if you can because you may...

storage question: glove box and heat

I do in fact have it in a leather holster and will soon replace it with a kydex as what everyone has suggested. This particular revolver has had it's share of finish issues but is mechanically excellent that's why it earned the right to be the "truck gun", and besides, it's accurate and...

storage question: glove box and heat

I tried looking for answers using the search options but did not find anything satisfactory. I think it would be safe to store a gun in the glove box (along with spare ammo). I live in the south and it gets really hot down here. I mainly need reassurance. I don't don't think the heat would be...
