Well I ordered the small Weber in the picture recommended by Loutent and judging by the reviews can't go wrong.
Thanks for all the suggestions and input.
Well I need a new one and would love a Weber but have a 400.00 cut off money wise. I see Dyna Glo with stainless steel components getting good reviews but the choices are endless. Any recommendations?
Thanks
Your first gun was a good one. Mine was a Savage bolt action 22 at age ten followed by a Stevens 16ga single shot. Can't begin to tell you what that hobby turned in to.
Mint condition is a reference started by coin dealers originally if I am correct and means as it left production. He would have to examine the gun carefully to give it that condition designation. Sounds fishy to me especially without the three day inspection with option to return.
If I didn't already own the described guns I would probably just forget owning them unless a ton of money came my way. I have wanted a Colt Diamondback 22 for years but refuse to "puke up" 2k+ to own one. Excuse my terminology but the price tag makes me sick.
The younger crowd with cell phones only may not be as dumb as we think. It takes far longer to infect cell phones than land lines and they can be changed more easily.
You are correct. Fran Longtin was a great guy to deal with as I made several trips there for target triggers and hammers. He once installed a smooth combat trigger in a 5" 27 with the promise that I would like it much better, he was right.
If I remember correctly the marble lobby was decorated...
N frame smooth target S&W grips listed on a famous grip auction site currently with six days left ( not mine ). At twelve bids it's over 411.00. Maybe those guys paying 2k to 3k for their model 27's finally found the grips they want.
I would consider new S&W revolvers to be the nicest on the market today if it wasn't for all those P&R's still lurking in the secondary market places. Especially when many can be found in like new condition for the same money.
Back in the 70's long barrels were in demand for two reasons already mentioned, Dirty Harry and hand gun hunting. Today both of those factors have faded considerably. Add to that the inconvenience of lugging around a long, heavy sidearm in a holster without a specific need in mind and a short...
I bought a new Ford Superduty in 2012 which is E85 compatible but never used it and hope I never have to. I would rather use E- free gas but can't find it anywhere near me.
