    Range Report M&P fs 45

Yes , they are great! I'll keep mine stock. My shooting buddy, decades of experience was totally shocked when he fired mine. Hated SW autos, said "damm that trigger is awesome"! Does not hate SW autos anymore, at least my MP45! He still loves his Les Baer lol Best

    M&P 45 FS or SIG P227

Hi Russ... Not familiar with the Sig 227, but I did own a Sig 220. It was a good gun, but had some quirks to it. If I loaded 10 plus one in chamber, it would not feed the next round. I could live with that, not big deal. It was accuratea and dependable, but I sold it. I now have two MP...

    Range Day M19 & M642 - Good and Bad!

Thanks scooter... Think it has to do with 357's high pressure ( cratered primers ) and firing pin bushing. All the standard 38's were fine. Your right on ejecting cases and like your idea of a tooth brush as well! Best Bob

    Range Day M19 & M642 - Good and Bad!

Thanks .... I am having hard time posting pictures here, but sent picture to a shooting buddy of spent case. He said it has a cratered primer, signs of excessive pressure. Figures has to do with firing pin bushing perhaps. Give SW a call, perhaps they can inspect and repair. Best Bob

    Range Day M19 & M642 - Good and Bad!

Primer seemed slightly moved. No case swelling. Most of the primer strikes on the magnums, looked light. Firing double action, had a very hard pull at one point, almost froze again. I am puzzled. Fired the .38's just great! Thanks Bob

    Range Day M19 & M642 - Good and Bad!

Greetings everyone..! Went to the range today, fired my M19-5 and M 642. Been a long time since I fired either one. Fired off hand range of 15 yards, single and double action. Pleased with both guns, fired without a hitch. Until I fired some Remington 357 158 JSP out of my 19. After a few...

    New Classic's

Thanks Old Corp! Kind of what I thought. Still might look into it, kind of "kick the tire". I have a 642 with lock ( never use the lock ) seems like a quality piece. Guess was asking too much to make the Classics w/o the locks! I doubt anything will equal the oldies! Cherish my M19 all...

    New Classic's

Greetings Everyone... I am looking at some of the new Classic's, wondering how they compare to the older models? I have a 19-5 which I really like. I was looking at the SW site... why they putting locks on new Classics? Are they comparable to the older models? Do they make them without...

    M&P9 Horrible Trigger

I love my MP 9. Trigger is bit heavy, but has a nice clean break. Will get better with use. I suggest dry fire with snap caps...keep live ammo away while doing so! Most accurate 9mm I have ever owned! BTW mine is stock. Bob

    M&P 9MM FS, accuracy question

I just picked mine up about a month ago. Born date of 9-13. Very accurate as long as I do my part! I love mine!

    I shot a M&P 9 and I think I need one!!!

I have both the MP 45 and more recently added the MP 9. I love both guns! Both very accurate and well regulated for 230 and 124 grain bullets. Both are very soft shooting for caliber. No malfunctions with either weapon. Guessing around 600 rounds through the 45 and perhaps 200 rounds...

9mm Shield Trigger a bit heavy

Give it time! I have both MP45 and MP9. Both are great. Bit heavy, but nice clean crisp break. Hey they are combat guns! I can shoot both of mine with a great degree of accuracy! Remember too, SW like all gun makers are mass producing these products. As well as liability in our wonderful...

    M&P 9mm Magazine Warning

Yep tried Pro Mags years ago, lured by their cheap price. Mistake! Always pay extra for quality! SW mags.. or MecGar great stuff. Magazines too important to skimp on!

New rules on Ivory trading announced.

Oh well if the laws don't work, kill them all we can have lots of ivory, at least until the last one is gone.

New rules on Ivory trading announced.

Yep! Has to start somewhere. If we continued to slaughter the buffalo 150 yrs ago... most likely would not be here. Killing a elephant so someone can have ivory grips is sick. Sure as can be...someday they will be gone sad to say.
