+1 for Botach, I ordered from them on the weekend and they shipped Monday and I received Thursday. Only problem is they were out of stock of the X-Grip I ordered so now I have a full size mag with no grip on it. Oh, they ship from LA and I live just south of DC, so the shipping wasn't too bad.

So when I carry my 40c I always keep a round in the chamber, but when I'm not (i.e. I leave the pistol at home when I'm at work) should I unload the chamber? I heard somewhere that keeping the strain on the spring could damage it? Just looking for some insight. Thanks.

If you have to fire one round you don't usually want to be there.

I have the rubber texture, it is what's recommended for concealed carry.

Couldn't have put it better myself. I also plan on doing exactly what you've listed with the FS mag, X-Grip and so on. With the ability to customize the 40c so much I don't know why someone would go with the FS, but that is just my $.02.

I had the same issue with the sights on my M&P. Once I started using them correctly though I have found out that I love them. I have a spare 10-8 rear sight lying around, I never really liked the 10-8 sight at all. I also love my talon grips on my 40c, makes the recoil much more manageable...

I'm more in the favor of the compact, easier to conceal and easier for me to shoot. Much more comfortable in my hand even though I have big hands.

I agree, I love my 40c but with the DCAEK and the RAM installed I find it to be the perfect EDC pistol for me.
