    M&P survives tornado...

Nice. I wonder if the laser held zero.

    Now what with Shield 40

Oh man, double charged reload? That sucks, but it happens. Glad to hear you are OK. If it was me I would pick up a 9mm Shield and keep an eye out for a .40 barrel. Being able to swap complete slides to change caliber would be convenient.

    Smith & Wesson M&P 40 Poor Warranty

I have put over 200 rounds through my gun in about 40 minutes. By the time I was done I was barely able to slingshot the slide due to the heat. I just can't imagine getting much more heat into the gun then that without being in "torture test" mode. Could you see any deformation in the...

M&P slide to frame fit *update 11/8*

That is how all that I have seen have been. There is a visible gap but no vertical or lateral "play" in the mating of the slide and frame. Someone once told be it was designed this way to allow dirt, sand, etc to fall out if it was to find its way into there...not sure how true that is.

    Range bag advice

I am a bit of a minimalist. My Shield, Full Size M&P, and mags live loaded (no kids in the house) in this case... The Shield comes out during the day for carry duty and at night it gets returned to the case and the full size gets place on the night stand for home defense. When I go to...

    M&P Shield Issues?

How can he give advice on a gun he doesn't own? Probably because he has read about this exact issue on this forum multiple times and is knowledgeable on the subject. Believe it or not, the spring orientation actually does appear play a roll in some cases in which an owner complains about not...

    Shield Paid for Itself....

Wow. That sounds very intense. I'm glad to hear you and your wife are ok. It sounds like you are still pretty shaken up. Just to clarify, the intruder was your neighbors 15 year old son? Was he hit? How many shots did you fire?

Loading the M&P Shield 40 mags

They will get easier with time and use. Until then, a Uplula speed loader will make life easier. Worth every penny.

    Yeah I mean, that's only ~25%....

    M&P picture thread.

Hey I know you! I agree completely. I would put my M&P as it sits up against any polymer pistol I have ever shot...including some nicely modded Glocks I have shot.

    my 9c has come home

Nice. I would like to add a 9c to fit between my FS9 and Shield 9.

    Shield Rear Sight Removal

Nice. I may have to go pick up some of the nylon vise jaws.

Could be worse, you could have sent your XDS to SA... Enjoy that Glock...make sure you list your M&Ps here so one of us have a chance to scoop them up.

    Carry one in the chamber

Personally, the only time I would feel a little nervous carrying chambered without a safety is during holstering. Once it was holstered and on my body, I would have no reservations at all.

    Shield - Need IWB Holster

I tried two different leather IWB holsters before I tried Kydex and I haven't looked back. The thinness and how light it is makes it so nice to carry...

Shield night sight PSA and showing off

Nice. They look like they fit pretty well. Ameriglo does make Shield specific sights that are closer to the size of the stock ones. Personally I went with the new Truglo TFO sights that fit the Shield.

So I fired my M&P exactly six times the other day and then...

Another 200 flawless rounds between my full size 9mm and Shield 9mm. I was really shooting out the bulls with the full size tonight and the Shield was no slouch. Apex kit + TFO sights = Awesome.

    Shield 9MM

The more dry fire the better. The trigger just gets better and smoother with use. I have probably dry fired my M&Ps 10 as much I have live fired them.

    Fair price for used M&P9c

About 2 months ago I paid $420 for a LNIB full size 9mm with 3 mags. I thought that was fair. I would feel comfortable paying around that for what you are looking at.
