First range trip with new 15-22

Hello all. Finally got the opportunity to fire my new 15-22 today.

One word: WOW!!!

Possibly the most entertaining fire arm I have ever shot. Only had time for the 3 clips I brought but it functioned flawlessly. No FTF and the bolt stayed open at the end of each clip. I was shooting Federal bulk from Wally world.

I hate that some of these rifles are frustrating some folks. All I can say is your grief will vanish once you get it back from S&W.

God Bless our troops, especially the ones at Ft. Hood and their families.

Good to hear you had a good time at the range. As you said, these rifles are a lot of fun to shoot, especially when they function well.
 
Congrads and indeed, they are loads of fun!!!! I use the Federal bulk from walmart aswell, the 15-22 loooooooooooooves it!!!
 
I ran my 15-22 through an Appleseed shoot a couple of weekends back. It was a blast. I used Federal bulk with very good results.
 
niiiiice, i gotta pick up a couple boxes of the Federal Bulk next time i go to wallyworld.

Sounds like a good time. What is an Appleseed shoot? Since you used Fed bulk, guess you weren't shooting appleseeds? :p
