I have updated the design for my Bullpup and thought I would share. It now incorporates a forward rail, with an AFG attached and a hand guard over the exposed barrel . It is also legal length now coming in at 26 1/4". I have also lightened it up by opening up the butt and have installed the FCG.
I plan on making one more prototype, (V3), before the real product which will incorporate some slight changes to enhance V2 and maybe some suggestions from the folks on this board.

Please feel free to comment with your thoughts and suggestions.

Measurement is without the flashhider, right?

Looking good. Would definitely love to see that as an 80% lower if that is deemed possible by the ATF.

Looks nice. For a bullpup the only thing I would think would be needed would be to poo poo the AR charging handle and it's location. I know you are using existing hardware, but I like the SCAR set up with multi placement and ambi for charging handle, so you could place it up closer to your grip hand. It's looking good. Like the way that you placed the AFG into the frame. Sweet stuff jack.

I like V2 much better. I could see where the charging handle might get in the way. Any way you could take a pic with the charging handle extended from the side? My only suggested would be to incorporate a 3-sided rail into the hand guard so you could move the MBUS up to a useable location and mount additional accessories. Nice work. What is the weight of it now with the skeletonized stock?

The measurements were taken without the flash hider.
The charging handle is something I was looking to change and I have an idea on what to do with it but its not on my list right now. The handle is actually not in the way even when extended, which is only about half way to the end of the butt.
Adding a 3 sided rail is not looking good because your hand actually rides up in that area with the AFG.
Right now the Bullpup lower weighs in about half what the factory lower weighs, but remember that this is the prototype so the final product will be a little different.

Good to see you're still working on the 'pup! I agree that the AFG is nicely integrated into the unit (though I miss that graceful curve of the original). I wouldn't get too complex with the thing though, the urge to hang every gimcrack and doo-dah on the gun can only get in the way of your original mission. Optics - yes; light or laser - sure; bayonet lug - don't be silly (if he's close enough to bayonet with a bull-pup then he's close enough to stab with a pocketknife!). But I like the way you are meeting the challenges intrinsic in a bull-pup design, you are doing a much better job than many of the big foreign arms companies at making the thing user-friendly. Please keep up the postings because I can hardly wait to see what the third-generation is like!

Obviously the flip-up irons are useless where they are. Consider mounting a gasblock height front sight on top of the part of your stock just above the flashhider and then move the rear sight right behind the tacky NcSTAR reddot/laser combo (I have one also so I know). then put a section of Ergo ladder type railguards on the back part of the top rail. I think it would look even better with the longer barrel of the PC model upper on it.
I am assuming if this goes into production it will be an add-on kit to the upper?
I think it would look even tricker with a railed carbon fiber handguard or a Samson/Troy/MI battlerail carbine length handguard on the upper also.

Coming along nicely. One change I would make would be to the area above the AFG. I would round off the top so that it kind of mimics the roundness of the barrel.

Actually like the lines of this one. Also looks more complete and really gives an idea of what the final might be.

Nice job, much more refined from the 1st one; well done!

Adding a 3 sided rail is not looking good because your hand actually rides up in that area with the AFG.

Then just the top section for the sights? Take a look at the top rail section for the Beretta CX4. They sell them separately so it might be something you can easily integrate into your lower.

YES! Much much better. I see you liked my suggestion of covering the barrel. Looks REALLY good! The AFG is perfect.

Good work and glad to see this moving along.

moving the charging handle will be hard since he is basically using the stock upper.

one think i dont like the the curved buttplate on the stock. much prefer a straight one.

Looking really nice. I recall your original post and all the folks who didn't believe it existed or could be done. Super Work!

Thanks everyone for your thoughts so far. I would like to fill in some info for those who came late to the party.
The GOAL of this project:
1) Build a Bullpup lower that I could attach to my 15-22 in seconds when needed without tools and could switch back without any permanent modifications to the original rifle.
2) Must be comfortable, light, and easy to hold and operate.
3) Must be inexpensive to manufacture.
4) Must be designed to use standard parts so it wouldn't be a hassle to find missing or replacement parts.
5) A consideration towards engineering the Bullpup so it could be available for those interested in having one.
My working hours are from 10:00pm to 2:00am because I have a regular job and wife that need most of my normal time. This restricts my progress but not my motivation.

Now to answer some questions.

The barrel cover was a good idea but not without issues and it’s going to get taller for more strength. Mounting a rail on top could be done but that rail would be taller than the rail on the gun, which is not to my likening. Could intergrade a rail into the top which would add cost , which upsets rule 3.
The AFG is mounted to an add-on rail so anything can be mounted there. Maybe I can show a picture of my grip bipod and scope mounted on it.
The charging handle is fairly comfortable and easy to use as is. I don’t mind it at all but I have an idea. I can create a forward mounted charging handle add-on that doesn’t violate rule 1 because it would be extra. I am thinking about asking tacticool22 if he would be interested in making it. It’s something that would fit and work on any stock 15-22 so maybe there is enough interest to make it worth wile.
The buttplate was designed to meet the legal length but not push the gun out farther. There is a sweet spot where the gun is comfortable and natural and having to add to V1 was frustration because it not as sweet now. The gun also needs to ride high up on your shoulder and the curved design naturally puts the gun at the right height and decreases the forward push out.
Because of rule 5 I am interested in everyone’s comments so that I can make a more worthy conversion so please keep the comments coming. One thing I can’t believe is nobody has said, where is the sling mount? Because if it was asked I would be saying that I am looking for a receiver cup for a quick release that I can set into the side. If anybody knows where I can get one please let me know.
Again, thanks everyone for your support.

You've obviously put in a lot of thought, effort and time into this project. I'm really looking forward to seeing the final product.

Go to the CBRPS website and look at the video of installing their bullpup kit on the Remington 597. Their kit is $255-$295 depending on equipment. With a disassembled 597 their installation takes about 1 minute or less since it only requires 2 screws and reinstalling the charging handle. While it looks good that way I was not in favor of their decision to put an AR type carry handle on it. I don't like built in risers myself.

Uncle Mike's has been ordered so there will be a sling mount on the V4, hopefully the production version. I saw the video and it is impressive but my Bullpup will install quicker. It is essentially a lower so all you need to do is pull the pins and swap out the lower and you are done. Also noticed the CBRPS has built in grips. I like options so mine uses any standard AR15 grip and FCG so the owner can decide on numerous options to suit their needs.
