I have a friend that letme know he has a 19-4. It has the box, paper work and still looks like it is still packed in the grease from the factory. He will let itgo for 1200. Should I or shouldn't I.

It's a tad high, IMO. If it is a 2-1/2" RB it is closer to that, but a 4" or 6" would be more like $900-$1000 for ANIB.

All depends on how bad you want it, actually. Last of the P&R series, to me a transition gun with one or the other feature absent would be a non-starter.
