2.0 compact shooting low

Put the front dot where you want the bullet to go. Its that simple.
Hmmm, not really. The front sight would at least need to be somewhat close to the rear notch to get the bullets on target. So, the sight picture is more than just the front dot.

I can put down the Glock, pick up the M&P, and put the bullets where I want them out to about 75 yds. Beyond that range the front dot & blade obstructs my view too much.
This tells me everything I need to know. Thanks for telling us. I would like to see you in the challenge as well. You're obviously a good shot.

You need to put the front sight dot over where you want the bullet to hit. This has been suggested by several others already. In my experience with most modern striker fired guns of several brands that is current practice. Glock is an exception.

hogblue Since you told us of your handguns sighting issues and then tell us about how skilled you are AND you really do understand the problem why the heck are you bothering with a tread here . Just deal with it !!

Personally I bench a new to me handgun once , NO ranson rest , just me pulling the trigger fired from from a stable shooting position using rest . I also try what I hope to carry in it along with a few other bullet weights and velocitys to see how it prints . .

Shooting from a rest helps to remove some of that new to you trigger pull issues you might be having but then your a very skilled shooter and should be able to sort out your minor problem !!

What is that group size on the B-27e target , 4.5 w 4.25 tall .

MY last new to me pistol is a 4.25 M&P 40 . Cleaned and lubed I loaded a mag with my 155gr coated swc 1260fps practice ammo and went out back to my range . Fired from the draw I fired 15 rounds at 15 yards at the center of the A zone on a uspsa target with no aim point other than rounds fired into a 3.5x 4.5 group with an average split time of .750 including the draw . That was 6 months ago . Not bad for a new to me pistol wearing trifocals and 64 years old . Never fired it as slowly or at only one target since . Its also easy to shoot well one handed weak handed , what ever !

Sounds like your skills might need some common sense polishing but if you need a new front sight ,, that is up to you . IF you want to adjust that sucker I would file it shorter , shoot a few rounds under better control that standing and shooting . When you find whats right for YOU measure it and buy a new sight , maybe from Dawson Precision as they also sell thinner sights and sights to cover most any height . .
