What do you think about a great condition Model 10-8, 2 inch, not a pinned barrel? Appears to be a late 1982 manufacture.

They are asking $400 but I'm sure I can work that down. No box, etc....

I want a shooter and a carry piece. I'm thinking to go as high as $350.

What say thee??

If you are patient you can find something for less but if you want it and have the $ go for it. I'm starting to think the stainless guns may be better for carrying on a everyday basis. Easier to clean/polish and I don't feel I need to run clean them right after I shoot them. But I will say I love the look of a beautiful blue S&W.

I have looking for a 2" M-10 and have never seen one. Depending on how often you see them in your area and if you really want to carry a K-frame snubbie I would pay $400 and would not hesitate at $350. You can always get $350 back for it. I need one of those to go with my 3" M65. Let us know what you decide. PEN

Based on availability in my area I think $350 is a fair price. Waiting to get the cheapest price is a way to never get one at all. I read all the stories about finding a NIB vintage S&W for $100 from some widow but I haven't come across any of those so far in the past 40 years. If you like it and can afford it, get it.
