Try Old Western Scrounger, google that name for contact information. He has lots of old vintage ammunition.

Don't know about factory stuff. But dies and parts are still available. Bought my set up last year through Midway. Had some other odd balls that I wanted to shoot as well.

I just realized it was the 250-3000 that I bought not the 22 High Power!

You're "Senior Citizen" and your neighbor is an old guy to you? He must be really old. Try good ol' RCBS, just an hours drive north of me. They're in Oroville, Ca. Those little lightweight take-down .22 Savages are great little rifles. I'd like one in 30-30.

S&B ammo tends to be loaded on the hot side, if that were your choice I'd have the old Savage checked out by a gunsmith before firing any S&B ammo. It has wrecked some pistols chambered for 9MM and .45 ACP.

senior citizen: I have brass, dies and some loaded rounds. I have no need for them. I will make an inventory tomorrow and get back to you.

The brass is new; the dies are RCBS and the few loaded rounds were loaded by me.

I bought and tried out a .22 Savage HiPower a few years ago. It was worth too much for me to use it for a range plinker so sold the rifle.

one thing you have watch out for is bullet dia. the 22 highpower is a .227 dia. bullet. If you start to load this round, e-mail me and I will send you 200 hornady 70 grain .227 dia. bullets. just pay the shipping cost ($11.00) [email protected] These are new boxes, old stock

Senior: I didn't make it to my shop today, other things came up and prevented me from making the eleven mile trip. I will go tomorrow. ... Big Cholla

Senior Citizen: I have a near new set of RCBS dies. I couldn't find the brass or the loaded rounds of .22 Hi-Power. I have moved my shop twice since I was playing with the Hi-Power. RCBS sells that set of dies right now for $70 plus shipping. You or your friend can have them for $60 shipped to you or him. PM me if interested. .......... Big Cholla

I will be in Vegas Friday 11/27 could come by! Dave

Dave: PM'd you back. Yes, let's get together and have coffee and discuss and cuss the .22 Hi-Power. I also have some new brass. I will count it tomorrow and see how many cases there are. I have misplaced the original box of Sierra .227 bullets, but will look for them too. I'm sure that we can make an deal. .......... Big Cholla

Have to say Glenn is a great guy, sent me some Boolits for my Savage Hi Power! Now if I can just get off my Duff and send him some cash I think he will feel a lot better about this old Phart! Dave.
