I would like to see a rimmed 22 centerfire cartridge that had straight walls. Overall length that just fit a normal length cylinder. .224 bore so you could load any of the regular jacketed bullets or cast your own.
Case length 1.160 (.145 longer than 22wmr)
case diameter 0.246 (little stiffer than regular 22 lr case)
rim diameter 0.295
small pistol primer pocket.
Tapered or bottle necked cases never work out right in revolvers.
Then of course J frames and K frames for the round. The K frame could be a 8 or 9 shooter
I love my model 18, and have hoarded quite a few 22lr rounds over the years, but it would be great to have a RELOADABLE 22 that could go from plinker to semi hot rod.
