27-2 3.5" .......Custom Combat style....PIC HEAVY

Wow! That is a beautiful job! I'm not normally a fan of custom guns, but that one came out beautifully! Let me know if you would like to sell the square butt targets that were on your 27 when you started. I have a shooter-grade 4" 28 they'd look great on and you could recoup some of the cost of the work.

Nicely done, great save, just wanted to add that to what everybody else said. A great example of taking something that was much worse than a "shooter grade" revolver and making it something special.

Great gun! Y'all did excellent work. I'm sure if that gun could talk, it'd be thankful for being rescued and given a purpose again.

I've always thought that a 3.5 inch model 27 is about the coolest and most intimidating looking handgun ever. A friend of mine who retired from my department two years ago was the last officer to carry a revolver on duty, right up until the day he retired (model 686). He showed me the gun he carried on his first day of patrol, a 3.5 inch model 27

No argument from this guy. EVERYONE should own an N frame 357:D

That and a good 1911. I really think that the "Real Meat Eating American" status needs to involve and N frame Smith or Colt SAA (bonus for both) and an N frame Smith (with a bonus for the 3.5" 27):D.

Additionally, the only guns that I would ever open carry are one of the above in high end leather.

Went to the range yesterday...nothing short of AMAZING. It handles full house .357s like .22s. This combo is my new favorite .357. Might just sell my 686 now....

No reason to sell your 686 unless it's to me! Seriously nice work and good save.
