28-2 What year was I born ?

Greetings,
I am a model 28-2 N frame 'Highway Patrolman' serial #N5190.

I would like to date a very cute model 28-2 I met recently, but I'm not sure if I'm too old for her. She is serial # N569689.

Could somebody be kind enough to tell me how old I am and also how old my friend is.

I am head over heels for her, we are seriously falling in love.
PLEASE HELP ME

The go-to bible is the Standard Catalog of S&W. Even if you're not a collector (I'm not) it's a great source of information on everything S&W.

Fishslayer, thank you for the link, It is great to be among people who know and understand S&W and in particular 28-2 I really enjoy mine almost each weekend, usually shoot two service matches. Sometimes an Action match too.
