Looking for some help determining what this is. Haven't owned very many revolvers. Just picked up this 342TI, looks almost new. Everything operates pretty smoothly, but it looks like the ejector is scraping on the frame when opening, and I noticed this scratch.

Suggestions/comments please on if this is a problem, and if so, what the problem is!

Thanks to all!

I assume you mean the narrow, slightly curved line running across the breech face to the center pin hole? This is normal and caused by the end of the center pin which is spring loaded to lock the cylinder closed. The somewhat "bent to the rear" shape of the left recoil shield is to cam the pin forward as the cylinder is closed. If you watch the end of the pin closely when you close the cylinder you will see how it works.
