Okay, I experimented on the Allegro generator. Like the 454 it will not fire up. It’s not sucking fuel out of its shared gas tank. The good news it’s not frozen. I do need to replace its battery cable.
I decided to build a new motor for my rv it and will keep a eye out for a more modern transmission. I have a friend that owns a auto shop. I told him I call dibs on the next LS that comes through the shop. He has been a very good friend and teacher. So I told him I want him to have my 454 when I no longer need it as a way to say thanks. I’m going to configure it to tow my car.
I have hit a milestone. I worked and saved up money for a brand new roof top AC. And I’m taking bids on getting my roof resealed and install the new AC. The older AC in the bedroom works great. I cleaned it up and it fires up. I do need to replace the toilet this week too.

Now I hit a minor bump on my 351 Cleveland build. I was a little to hasty on measuring for new push rods. I ended up bending my push rod measuring tool. I ordered a replacement. I dropped off some parts at the machine shop. The shop called me and told me the exhaust manifolds are not correct for my engine. I will get the right manifolds soon.

it is always a journey, not a destination... enjoy the ride as much as you can...

That’s the plan. The place I’m living is so peaceful I’m actually trying to slow down and enjoy my solitude. I was going to work on more then I did today. But I came down with a bizarre rash recently that made me miss a day of work. It maybe poison ivy or a allergic reaction to something. It’s still healing so don’t want to aggravate it. So I called it a day early
