357 Magnum in an auto loader

No.
Try Desert Eagle and Coonan; maybe LAR still makes one.
All I've seen had grips too long front to back, and most had feeding problems.

Now, the 10mm auto is a better solution to semi auto magnum power.

I saw a _bunch_ of the Coonan's at H&H gun store in OKC this weekend. I don't know if they bought them out or what but there was a whole display cabinet of them.

My every day carry gun is an auto in .357. Of course it is actually an HK P2000 LEM in .357 SIG but it's the same 1450 fps with 125 grain JHP I used to get in my revolver carry days. Probably more since I carried the S&W M640 with Magnum hollow points back then and I'm pretty darn sure that short little barrel didn't get me to 1450 fps!

A friend of mine bought a Coonan a couple of years ago and he absolutely loves it!!!

That is my total knowledge on the subject.........

Having had the chance last summer to fire a Coonan a fair bit at my club I found the Coonan to be extremely accurate as well as well balanced no matter which ammo we were shooting. It really is a extremely nice gun. with either 38spl or 357 ammo in it. Just change the spring in it and load it up.

I've had my Coonan for a couple of years. Reliable and accurate. It really throws the brass a long ways. It does put a smile on my face when I shoot it.
