38 or 357 for taking out gnomes??

Lawn gnomes are one thing, but if you have these guys in your garden you will need some heavy artillery and a Doctor.

That, is a Weeping Angel. In the world of sci-fi and Doctor Who they are probably one of the best bad guys ever invented. They are ancient, and they are a statue only when you are looking at them. If you blink or turn your head they have you. They zap you back in time and let you live to death and life off the energy of what you might have been.

It is also important to have gnome gnowledge when hunting gnomes. You must take them out with the first shot. Shoot Zombie gnomes in the head. If wounded they will attack you and gnaw on your gnees. Of course, I'm sure most of you gnew that after reading the manual "Gnow Your Gnomes." Be aware that if bitten by a Zombie gnome, you will become gnumb all over thus leading credence to the old saying, "Once you go gnome, you can never go home." Good luck!!

I once bought out all the Gnomes the local "Dollar Store" had in stock for reactive targets. They were the Plaster of Paris ones that would explode into powder and could be shot at till they were just a small chunk of rubble. The newer plastic ones they sell now are no match for the older ones.

My youngest is a Doctor Who fan and got me to watchin' it. The first time I saw one of the "weeping angel" episodes, it reminded me of the Angel that stands at the entrance to the Natchez City Cemetery. It is called the "Turning Angel".

There is a statue of an angel at the front of the cemetery that, as you approach from a particular angle, appears to turn to greet you. This has been the subject of Natchez legend throughout the years... but the thing about it is, this legend is true. Because of this, the statue has been dubbed, "The Turning Angel". In this case, there is a logical explanation. If you read the inscription on the stature, it says: "Erected by the Natchez Drug Company to the memory of the unfortunate employees who lost their lives in the great disaster that destroyed its building on march 14, 1908." The five girls who were killed are buried under the watchful gaze of the angel. The Natchez Drug Company commissioned the statue, and the artist carved it in such a way to form an optical illusion. Approaching the statue from the correct angle makes it appear to turn as you grow nearer.

Square up your stance and aim that Military & Police with confidence. But be careful, they are an insidious force, spies everywhere and they are a highly mobile. 158 gr. round nosed lead was effective for my kin and it still gets 'em for me.C.B.
