3913 TSW sight problem

I ordered a set of Meprolite sights and have had to replace just the front sight twice My gunsmith is reputable and getting 2 sights in a row that are bad is unlikely. Any thoughts,suggestions or help is appreciated. My last option is to send to S&W and have them install sights. Thanks

is he using a sight tool or hammer and punch¿

the latter is not the best method 4 nite sites.
