Hey everybody I'm new here not to sure where I should post this. I love my .40 Shield but recently since S&W has had it I'm beginning to get a little frustrated.
I sent my Shield in to S&W for the trigger recall. They said I would have it back in no more than 7-10 days. I sent the firearm in 10 days go by no firearm has came back. 13 days go by and I start to wonder. Finally after about 21 days I called S&W about my firearm. I waited on hold for about a half hour to hear "Wow we have had your firearm a while." "We have inventory going on and nothing moves at all." I told him I don't understand why I wasn't told this when I scheduled my shipment. Inventories are not just a spur of the moment thing is it? S&W did not try to contact me via e-mail, telephone, or anything I think this is very poor of them. They have had my firearm now 25 days and S&W told me another 7-10 days which will put me at 30 or more days without my firearm.
I tried emailing through their website but my response I got from them was simply "Your gun will ship in 7-10 days." Anybody know of another way to talk to somebody? My first pistol purchase has been kind of disappointing. What would you do?
